Issuer and merchant decisions
The card issuer, merchant and payment processor have different roles. A website displaying Visa may still restrict a particular card type, region or transaction category. Consult the issuer for account-specific restrictions rather than treating a logo as approval.
Authorisation versus posting
An authorisation can reserve an amount before final posting. A declined or interrupted checkout may therefore require checking the issuer’s transaction history. Distinguish pending entries from posted charges and retain the merchant reference if one exists.
Refunds and dispute records
A refund and a withdrawal are different processes. Keep receipts, dates and correspondence, and use the issuer’s documented procedure for an unresolved card charge. BMW Game cannot decide eligibility or promise a dispute outcome.
