Google Pay functionality depends on region, account and payment network. The name of the app alone does not identify the exact transfer route.

What to check on the payment screen

Inspect the recipient and the payment request. Record the transaction reference and use the official app’s help flow when a payment is unresolved.

Deposits and withdrawals are different

Inspect the underlying route displayed in Google Pay rather than assuming the application name defines the whole transaction. The source account, receiving identifier and confirmation should agree with the intended payment. Account-specific acceptance belongs with the parties processing that route.

Keep a clear record

To investigate a Google Pay status, open the original activity entry and its associated help option. Record the payment identifier and recipient details shown there. A message outside the application is not a replacement for that transaction record.
