Free Bets: Token Rules and Settlement
A free-bet token is not necessarily equivalent to the same amount of cash. Read eligible markets, expiry and the treatment of the token stake.
BMW Game Editorial · How we prepare these guides

Check the eligible market
A token may restrict the sport, market type, event period or minimum price. A familiar event can contain both eligible and excluded selections. Read whether combinations are allowed and whether the token must be used as one allocation or can be divided.
Understand stake-return wording
The settlement description should explain whether the token’s original value is included in a return. Compare that wording before interpreting a potential-return display. A token and a cash-funded selection with the same nominal size may be credited differently.
Voids and postponed events
Read what happens if the event is postponed, a selection is void or only part of a combination remains valid. The operator may have a rule for reinstating or expiring the token. The event’s sporting result alone does not explain the promotional treatment.
Do not confuse token expiry with event time
The deadline may concern when the token must be used, when the event starts or when another qualifying condition is met. Keep those times separate and check the timezone. A token that appears in an account can still have restrictions that are not visible on the event screen.
