Cashback Offers: Calculation, Caps & Credit Type
Cashback wording can refer to several different calculations. Read the measurement period and credit conditions before interpreting the percentage.
BMW Game Editorial · How we prepare these guides

Find the calculation base
An offer should define which activity counts and how the relevant loss or net figure is calculated. Deposits, balances and qualifying losses are not the same measure. Record any excluded games, transactions or promotional funds before applying a percentage to a number.
The measurement period matters
A daily allocation and a weekly allocation can aggregate activity differently. Check the start and end time, the timezone and when the resulting credit becomes available. A later account result may fall outside the period being measured.
Caps and minimums change the headline
A percentage can be subject to a maximum credit, minimum qualifying amount or other threshold. Read those alongside the percentage. A nominal cashback amount does not reverse all losses and should not be treated as a reason to increase activity.
Confirm whether the credit is cash
A reward labelled cashback may still arrive as a restricted balance. Check expiry, eligible products and any further conditions before treating it as withdrawable. The credit label should be read together with the terms that describe how it can be used.

Frequently asked questions
Does cashback remove the possibility of a loss?
No. It is a conditional offer and does not make gambling risk-free.
Is a cashback credit always cash?
