Tether tokens can appear on multiple networks. Asset denomination and network compatibility are separate checks, even when the displayed token name is the same.

What to check on the payment screen

Match the sender’s selected network with the recipient’s instructions. Read network-specific minimums and avoid assuming a transfer can be reversed.

Deposits and withdrawals are different

A Tether label alone is not a complete transfer instruction. The sending and receiving screens need to agree on the supported network as well as the asset. Check those labels for the present transaction instead of reusing settings solely because an earlier payment succeeded.

Keep a clear record

For an unresolved Tether credit, preserve the asset, network, destination and transaction identifier as one record. Those fields help locate the transfer. Keep wallet keys and recovery information out of screenshots or messages sent to the recipient.
